One-Pan Low-Carb Meals

Sheet pan dinner with sausage and veggies

Cooking is fun. Doing dishes is not. These recipes use a single skillet or sheet pan for the entire meal.

1. Skillet Taco Bake

Brown 1lb of ground beef in a large cast-iron skillet. Drain fat. Add taco seasoning and 1/2 cup tomato sauce. Stir. Top with 1 cup shredded cheddar. Place entire skillet in oven at 400°F for 10 minutes until cheese bubbles. Serve with sour cream directly from the pan.

2. Sheet Pan Shrimp Boil

Toss shrimp, sliced andouille sausage, and asparagus in Old Bay seasoning and melted butter. Spread on a baking sheet. Roast at 400°F for 12 minutes. Squeeze lemon over top.

3. Cheesy Broccoli Chicken

Fry chicken thighs in a pan until skin is crispy. Remove chicken. Add broccoli florets and heavy cream to the pan. Simmer until cream thickens. Add cheddar cheese. Return chicken to pan to coat. A one-pan creamy masterpiece.

4. Fried Cabbage and Bacon

Chop 6 slices of bacon. Fry in a large pan. Leave the grease! Add a chopped head of cabbage and an onion. Sauté over medium heat until cabbage is tender and caramelized (about 15 mins). Season with salt and lots of pepper.
